How can the McCain camp rain on Obama's parade and divert attention away from the Democratic convention (DNC) in Denver and keep up a presence in the media? What they came up with is a cross-over ad and a stroke of genius. 

By exploiting the growing tension between the Clinton and Obama camps and the rift between delegates at the DNC, with a cross-over ad from one of the delegates. 

Debra Bartoshevich, a Wisconsin DNC Delegate, opposed Obama's nomination and was under fire from her own party for her criticism of the Chosen One.

This is how she appears in the McCain ad, which has already notched up more than 100,000 hits on YouTube.

There's growing anger that the Democratic leadership has blatantly ignored a large part of the party and alienated Clinton supporters.

As he prepares to sell his 'dream', packaged up like soap powder, tensions are boiling over between the two camps, with the Politico website, among others, reporting the mistrust and resentment.

The frictions will come to a head with the thorny issue of Clinton's name down on the roll-call vote for nomination and whether she'll release her delegates to Obama on Wednesday. 

And, looming in the background, is a US lawsuit, filed by a Clinton supporter, designed to halt Obama's bid for the presidency and nomination. 

Reports surfaced last week that Debra Bartoshevich, had told the Wisconsin Journal she would vote for Clinton at the convention and McCain in November. The Republicans didn't waste any time as the presidential campaign is increasingly being fought on the internet.

Obama Sells Soap Powder Dream In Denver

The greatest sham on earth hits town this week. 45 years to the day since Martin Luther King gave hope to the world, Obama will try to sell his soap powder dream, at the Democrat convention in Denver - all perfectly stage managed, to be played out in Obamarama on prime-time TV and newspaper pictures, with Obamaoverload in the US and here in the UK.

It won't be Obama who first takes the spotlight. That will be Chicago lawyer wife and mom, Michelle, who will begin the 'dream theme' of the four-day Obamafest. 

With Obama's background causing a bit of confusion among voters and delegates, it will be left to Michelle to kick off proceedings and hit the race issue head on. 

As a true black American, Michelle speaks with a heartfelt and sincere voice - and can hook into Obama's central theme of the 'dream' - and place civil rights leader Martin Luther King, early in people's minds. 

Obama, will pick that up later, during his 'acceptance' speech, perfectly timed for the 45th anniversary of King's "I have a dream" speech of August 28, 1963, from the steps of the Lincoln Memorial.

For four days and nights they'll be wheeled on stage and on screen. A film featuring Obama in all-American scenes, family members telling his American story, Obama's side-kick Joe Biden, old party hands like Edward Kennedy, Bill and Hillary Clinton and powerful House of Representatives speaker, Nancy Pelosi. 

Along with walk-on appearances by 'ordinary' Americans and a sprinkling of 'celebrity stars'. 

And there will be no plain convention hall with a stuffy old lectern for Obama Superstar. He'll be outside in front of the assembled multitude, in the Invesco Field stadium, before a cheering throng of thousands.

It won't be all plain sailing for the Chosen One. Behind the scenes is Hillary Clinton. 

A growing and increasingly vocal band of Clinton supporters and delegates have gathered at Denver. 

There's the thorny issue of Clinton's name on the roll-call vote for nomination and whether she'll release her delegates to Obama. And a US lawsuit filed by a Clinton supporter, designed to halt Obama's bid for the presidency and nomination. 

Meanwhile, McCain TV ads and YouTube postings, are showing up Obama's 'cult of personality' and question his choice of windbag running-mate, Biden, over Clinton.

US voters want two basic things from their president - a firm hand on global Islamic terrorism and a steady and responsible hand on the economy. 

Selling a dream, packaged up like soap powder, is not the way to win them over.

Obama Faces Court Case In President Bid

The US Main stream media won't touch it, but doubts over Obama's eligibility to run for President just won't go away. Now a US court has been asked to stop Obama's bid for president and nomination at this week's Democrat convention. 

The move comes as bloggers, from all shades of political opinion, are becoming increasingly frustrated that allegations over Obama are being ignored.

The action, reported widely by US bloggers, comes from Philadelphia attorney, Philip Berg, who has filed a lawsuit in the Pennsylvania District Court against Obama, the Democratic National Committee (DNC) and the Federal Election Commission (FEC). 

Berg applied for an injunction preventing Obama from continuing his candidacy and a court order preventing the DNC from nominating him this week. The action claims Obama is constitutionally ineligible to run for and hold the office of President.


Berg, a Clinton supporter, is a former chair of the Democratic Party in Montgomery County, former member of the Democratic State Committee, and former Deputy Attorney General of Pennsylvania. 

According to Berg, he filed the lawsuit for the "health of the Democratic Party" and "to avoid the obvious problems that will occur when the Republican Party raises these issues after Obama is nominated."

The action centres on claims reported by the Orange Party here, over Obama's citizenship and eligibility, raised by his Indonesian school record and an internet post of his Birth Certificate which has been claimed to be a fake. 

Meanwhile pressure is mounting on the FEC to investigate Obama, with more than 5000 signatures collected in an on-line petition, calling for his candidacy to be halted.

Moves for a temporary restraining order were denied by the Pennsylvanian judge Barclay Surrick, but the exhibits were taken into evidence. Judge Surrick decided to leave the case open, until the outcome of this week's Democrat nomination was known.

Obama Picks Kinnock Copycat Biden

The Chosen One has chosen silver-haired windbag, Joe Biden, as his running mate for the White House. The decision was due to be revealed by text message to the Obama faithful, as part of the campaign hype to whip up interest. But in the end it was leaked out by the media.

The Obama campaign tried to wrong-foot the Clinton and McCain camps with the late announcement and the choice of an all-American guy with Washington experience. But, after Biden earlier cast doubts on Obama running for president, the McCain camp was quick to put out this YouTube put down.

Biden, with the looks of a younger McCain, has a background in law, experience of foreign policy and a reputation as a "remorseless gabber", as one columnist put it. 

Over here, he was known as the Kinnock Copycat. Biden shot to fame in 1987, when he was accused of plagiarising a speech by Labour Party leader, Neil Kinnock. A video of his admission, made by rivals, cost him his shot at the presidency.

Obama-Biden (no relation to anyone else with a similar sounding name), made their first campaign appearance together at a rally in Springfield, (Illinois not Simpsonland), ahead of next week's media circus, also known as the Democrat convention (DNC).

Unlike presumptive nominee Obama, Biden was vetted by the Democrats. So it seems there are no skeletons lurking in that cupboard. In a clear snub to Clinton, she, apparently, was not even part of the vetting process. 

Faced with a revolt by Clinton delegates and McCain riding high in the polls, the Obama camp has resorted to damage limitation, with Obama-Biden being sold as the 'dream' ticket. 

The Denver DNC is a chance to show very public support for the Democrat nominee and running mate in the full glare of the media. 

But with both Obama and Clinton names in the hat, it could still go either way.

Clinton's huge band of supporters and delegates face a choice. Continue to support Clinton as the nominee, or go along with the Obama-Biden dream.

Is Clinton Plotting A Convention Coup?

It doesn't bode well for Obama superstar. The great ship has lost its paddle and taking in water. Even his slick publicity machine is fighting to stop him sinking. The Messiah's empty-headed TV performance during the Saddleback debate with McCain is lingering and festering in the media. For the first time, McCain is ahead in some polls. And that leaves the field wide open for Clinton.

While the Chosen One's campaign team was hitting on McCain in TV ads, they took their eyes off the ball and didn't realise what was creeping up behind them.

Clinton has pulled a blinder here. Just suspending her campaign after the US Primaries was only the beginning. Then the full force of her strategy swung into action. 

First she managed to get Obama to wipe out her campaign debts. Next Obama's VP choice, John Edwards, was wiped out with a sordid scandal. Then she gets a roll-call vote of delegates at next week's Democrat convention (DNC) in Denver. And behind the scenes she's whipping up support.

Clinton's 18 million supporters are taking the battle to Denver. Hillary's gals are preparing for a fight. The US Primaries left a bitter taste and shattered their dreams of the first woman in the White House and they won't take that lying down. The Clintons just don't like to be beaten.

At the end of the day it will be Obama's arrogant, pompous attitude, political skulduggery and total lack of any experience that could be his downfall. Unlike the Main Stream media and the fanatical band of Obama supporters, the American people saw that coming a long while ago.

Obama, the presumptive presumptuous senator from Chicago, is due to announce his VEEP running mate on Friday. A crafty move to leave it until the last minute and capture TV coverage and headlines ahead of his huge media onslaught planned for the DNC.

Clinton strategists may, however, come up with plan B. Force Obama to chose Clinton (and her delegate votes) as his running mate. That makes her ideally placed to take over the reigns when the McCain and Clinton camps finally expose Obama for the sham he really is. Or at least give her a head start in 2012. 

One thing's for sure, never underestimate the Clintons. Bigger fish than Obama have tried and failed. Whatever the outcome, there'll be a place in the big tent for Hillary.

The Life Of Barry (Obama)

Barack or Barry? Obama or Soetoro? What's in a name? Quite a lot, if you want to be elected the most powerful person on the planet - the President of the Free World.

Pressure is mounting on the US Federal Elections Commission (FEC) to investigate claims that a copy of Obama's Hawaiian birth certificate, posted by his campaign team on the internet, is a fake. In just over a week, since it was disclosed and highlighted by the Orange Party here, more than 5000 signatures have been added to an online petition. 

Meanwhile more details have emerged over his Indonesian school registration, highlighted by the Orange Party  here. The photograph of the record, by a respected Associated Press photographer, calls into question Obama/Soetoro's citizenship and eligibility to run for president. And whether he left out former names on his US bar application. 

Now a packaged news report has been posted on YouTube by the website, stuckon-stupid, from what seems to be a US news channel. Apart from the opening caption, the video seems to be a balanced report. 

Regular US voters don't give a damn about race when electing someone to high office. But after 9/11, they are paranoid about fundamental Islam. Spinning Obama/Soetoro's African-Kenyan roots, assuages any concerns. 

His campaign has been carefully orchestrated to put him on a pedestal along with highly-respected black civil rights leaders like Martin Luther King, when he's nothing of the sort. But the spin works.

Both Obama/Soetoro and his campaign play up the race card - pushing him as "the first Black American President", to deflect any awkward questions. A line swallowed by much of the Main stream media (MSM). 

US voters just want the truth and they don't like to be hoodwinked. Bush's contrived victory still leaves a bitter taste. And they don't want to be taken in again.

The MSM on both sides of the Atlantic remains strangely silent. Not even holding up his background to examination. Nor ridiculing the claims as lies and smears. 

However, Cori's anti-Obama book, Obama Nation, is now the top-seller in the US book charts. Questions are being asked about his "American roots" and there are references to "Barry" buried in national newspapers. Obama/Soetoro is becoming a one-trick pony. Cool-dude Barack is turning out to be plain old Barry. And Obama the Chosen One, just Soetoro the Snake-Oil Salesman.

By declaring himself the victor after the US primaries and going on a "presumptuous and presumptive" tour ahead of the official Democrat convention (DNC) nomination, the Obama campaign neatly side-stepped the background checks made by Democrat Party officials.

As highlighted here many times before, Obama/Soetoro is the product of a slick Chicago marketing machine, packaged up by the Ad-Men and sold to the MSM as the Chosen One and Saviour. 

However, it is becoming increasingly clear that Barry is 'not the Messiah'. He's just a ... (US voters will fill in the rest).

Clinton's Name Goes In Hat For Democrats

The race for the White House has taken a new twist, with Clinton confirming her name will be placed in the nomination at the DNC, later this month, which could force a roll-call vote of the delegates. Clinton has been playing her cards close to her chest but now she could be set to rain on Obama's parade at the Democrat National Convention (DNC) in downtown Denver.  

The official announcement ends weeks of speculation over Clinton's position, since she was careful to only suspended her campaign following the US Primaries.

At the beginning of the month, the Orange Party asked if Clinton was still in the race.

That followed increasing doubts over Obama, when his star started to fade and he was described as a "presumptuous, presumptive" senator, following his European 'Audacity of Hope' tour. 

Since then, Obama has failed to make in-roads in the opinion polls. Questions have been raised publicly over his fund-raising and links with dodgy Chicago politicians. And there's increasing internet speculation over his eligibility for the presidency and his Birth Certificate.

In a YouTube video of a California fund-raising event, posted here, Clinton did not rule out having her name put in the nomination and a roll-call vote. And husband Bill was decidedly lukewarm when asked about his support for Obama.

Clinton picked up about 18 million votes and nearly 1,900 delegates in her primary battle against Obama, who got more than 2,250 delegates. 

But Clinton supporters want to force a roll-call vote to show the extent of support for the New York senator and are also planning rallies at the DNC in Denver, along with TV and press adverts, to express their frustration with the Party’s presidential primaries.

The Obama campaign was quick to spin Clinton's move, saying it will "unify" the Democrats, as well as "honour" Clinton. But that didn't cut the ice with anyone.

Hillary is expected to address the convention on August 26, while husband Bill is due to speak the following night.

Obama's 'Fake' Birth Certificate

WASHINGTON - The US Federal Elections Commission (FEC) is being urged to check out presidential hopeful, Barack Obama's birth certificate as rumours circulate over its authenticity. The move, in an online petition to the Commission, is the latest in a string of allegations circulating in the US blogsphere, which call into question Sn. Obama's eligibility to run for President.

A tale of dark and dirty deeds in US politics. An ambitious Illinois senator and his slick Chicago marketing machine set on the Big Prize - President of the United States.

Deals were struck over fundraising. A Faustian pact made with the Main stream media (MSM). The Chosen One's star started to shine.

But is Obama hiding a dark secret?

Enter the bloggers TexasDarlin, IsraelInsider and a forensic expert, Techdude.

Under pressure from US bloggers, Obama's official campaign was forced to post a copy of his birth certificate on the internet. And according to the bloggers, that internet copy was a fake. The original paper copy of Obama's birth certificate seems to have gone missing.

The petition, here, calls on the US Commission to:

"take responsibility to verify the eligibility of Mr. Barack H. Obama to be President of the United States. Mr. Obama has refused to produce a physical certified, stamped copy of his birth certificate. An electronically-displayed image displayed by his official campaign website has been alleged to be a forgery ... and if he does not produce the authorization that the FEC reject his registration as a presidential candidate."

But why would there be a forged birth certificate anyway? Suggestions that it may show a muslim religion don't stack up - why should religion at birth be such a big issue?

No, this is about eligibility. The US president has to be born, or his parents born, in the US. A natural-born citizen.

Obama, so the story goes, was born Hawaii. But there's speculation he was born outside the US, in Indonesia (or Kenya). If his official birth certificate shows a different name at birth, or he or his parents weren't born in the US, that blows his chances of the presidency.

The allegations centre on whether a copy of a birth certificate from his younger half-sister, Maya Kassandra Soetoro, was doctored for Barack Obama and posted by his campaign team on the web. Mayo, it's claimed, although not born in Hawaii, apparently does have a Certificate of Live Birth registered in the State.

A crack-pot conspiracy theory, smears and lies and dirty tricks? Truth or fiction?

Obama is still a 'presumptive, presumptuous candidate' and the official nomination isn't made until the Democratic National Convention (DNC) in two weeks time.

By coincidence, Obama is currently on holiday in Hawaii. No doubt there will be photo opportunities and homespun stories for the folks back home.

UPDATE Aug 25 2008: A US court has been asked to stop Obama's bid for president and nomination. The lawsuit has been filed by a Democrat lawyer and Clinton supporter against Obama, the DNC and FEC.
