Chaos In Brown's Big Brother House

The fag-end government is fighting a rearguard action to brown-beat voters and cling onto power. Tarred with the brush of sleaze and scandal, Brown is bringing his own brand of chaos to his Big Brother House.

Parliament is powerless. Democracy a joke. The people are revolting. The Queen is not amused. In the second English Revolution, chaos is descending on Brown's Big Brother House and the long-suffering public are the losers.

A parliament for the people has been exposed as a rotten house prostituting itself to the iron grip of a shamed and discredited government.

In the thick of it is a deluded Supreme Leader using the scare tactics of "chaos" against anyone who dares question his iron will. That sticks in the throat.

Bent on a desperate last ditch bid to fool some of the people some of the time, disturbing signs of delusions of grandeur are setting in.

Ridding the commons of the spivs and crooks with a purge of MPs should be self-selecting and deselecting.

Instead angry, disillusioned voters are being forced to sit through the squalid spectacle of a game of cat and mouse as the truly rotten eggs try to keep their cushy numbers and cling on to power.

Leaders from all parties have a magic bullet in their armoury to deal with the bad and the ugly faces of politicians.

Withdrawn the whip and without the Party comfy cushion, an MP will be forced to stand down and force a by-election. But will Brown use it and risk losing it? Will he heck.

Bold, strong leadership is being cast aside in his squalid game of tribal politics and brinkmanship being played out at Westminster.

Cameron's Conservatives and the LibDems are coming out on top but only because with fewer MPs, the odds are stacked in their favour and the top tiers of Osbourne, Hague and Cable have come up squeaky clean.

But as the expenses scandal unfolded, clear water began to emerge. In the main, Tory toffs were caught lording it up on lavish expenses while the New Labour wannabe elite made the most of their mortgages with crooked second homes fiddles.

A mixture of chancers, spivs and downright criminals left the poor taxpayers in the middle. You pays your money, now you takes your choice with a handful of honourable and decent folk who can hold their heads high and now ride out the storm.

Cameron's lot are being forced to bite the bullet. Brown's lot hiding away in the bunker of shame playing for time. The chaos is set to get worse the longer Brown and his tight cabal of cronies try to put off the inevitable day when power is prised from their cold dead fingers.

Bleating Blears, set up for the chop as a lamb to the slaughter, is now being backed by Blairite cabinet colleagues, leaving beleaguered Brown and his government in tatters as they struggle to contain the fall-out in the squalid world of self-interest.

Her 'crime' is no worst than most others among the smug arrogant bunch in the cabinet highlighted here. Sacrifice Blears and the whole rotten pack of cards will come tumbling down.

Only ex-postie Johnson and the useless Miliband brothers are coming up clean. Get rid of the cabinet crooks and there'd be few left to fight another day.

The disgraced speaker was finally ousted through the 'will of parliament' as Brown faced up to the stark home truth that it was either his pal or him. With the downfall of a disgraced speaker came the downfall of democracy.

Now voters in their droves are calling time on the government and calling for a general election.

Brown tried to ignore the 'will of parliament'. Now he's trying to ignore the will of the people. But he does so at his peril. Behind the will of parliament and the will of the people lurk powerful dark forces lying in wait in the true 'national interest'.

After the expected Euro rout of June 4, stand by for the spin of a cabinet reshuffle with the same old cronies sliding up and down the greasy pole and a grand "national plan", a magic cure all for all the country's ills in the last chance election saloon.

The cheap trick is to turn the agenda back on what only deluded Brown thinks is his election strength - the economy - already featuring heavily in the June 4 campaign for what is supposed to be an election about, er, Europe.

This has all the hallmarks of a phoney general election war set up before the dark nights of autumn and before the legals kick in and force fair, balanced broadcast news.

A national plan, national unity, national government with a power-crazed megalomanic and a tightly knit bunch of cronies ruling the country with the iron fist of a Nasty Party. This is all starting to sound scary.

One person, one party and one voice to save the country and save the world. "One Folk, One Party, One Leader" has a very nasty ring to it. Churchill will be turning over in his grave.

The only hope for the doomed and discredited New Labour brand is Johnson. Other left-wing backbenchers sure, but that's wishful thinking best left for the big debate after New Labour is left licking its wounds ousted and outed.

Johnson may be despised by the grass roots Party as a Blair prop. The Orange Party's big concern is that it would be Mandy and the gang pulling his strings. But he's a decent sort of chap and, as an added bonus, he used to have a proper job before he took the Blair shilling.

Johnson would sure as hell give Cameron a good run for his money in that much needed general election. And that would make for healthy politics all round.

The Party should pull its finger out now before it's all too late and the iron fist turns into an immovable iron grip and a new Brown Order of crooks, smearers, spinners and bully boys crawls out of the chaos.

McBrown Is Lovin' It And Losing It

MPs are packing their bags for another long break counting the cost of their expenses. The deluded Supreme Leader is lovin' it and losing it, using scare tactics of "chaos" against the will of the people, while playing an outrageous petty game of one-upmanship with Mr Fix-It. The government, parliament and democracy have been left in tatters and the public left spitting blood. It's now back to the future playing up the soiled economy card, as Brown's top greedy bunch of crooks and cronies are let off Scot-free.

Promising the sham of a crack-down on his greedy MPs with well-spun show-trials has a hollow ring to it, as Brown today backs up his greedy cabinet cronies Hoon and Purnell who can do no wrong, leaving soft target Blears hung out to dry.

Blinkered Brown is caught between the devil and the deep blue sea. It's hard to see who'd be left in his cabinet if he really puts our money where his mouth is.

Cameron is on a mission from Murdoch. It'll be the Sun wot won it for the man who can, as long as his cuts run deep and true and the smiley postie doesn't come knocking on his door.

Dave has found the golden bullet of trust. At every twist and turn of this squalid MPs' expenses scandal he's been streets ahead of bunkered, bossy-boots Brown.

Brown's misguided tribal loyalties and political politicking will be his downfall. Putting self-interest above the country is not the way to go when voters want blood and a change from a rotten regime.

It's show time for New Labour but don't expect a sharp axe wielded with a true aim.

Only postie turned Blair prop, Johnson, has a clean bill of health, along with the nice but useless Miliband brothers. They've come out of the sordid mess unscathed and deserve to hold their heads high. Even Brown isn't whiter than white. The rest should rot in hell - but they won't.

It may well end in tears for Blears. A poor little sacrificial lamb led to the slaughter while the rest of the fiddling flock count themselves lucky, count their ill-gotten gains and count on the boss to see them right.

A cabinet reshuffle after the Euro election wipe-out is on the cards if Brown gets that far and it's not just beaming Blears and iffy Smiffy who should be toast.

But throw one top cabinet minister to the baying crowds and the whole pack of cards will come crumbling down.

Instead Brown is set to come back refreshed for a general election fight back with a new cabinet stuffed with old cronies and then have the rotten scandal rear its ugly head again and blow up in his face.

Hiding away in the tribal bunker, the spinners are trying it on with a last roll of the dice - the economy - featuring heavily in the Party's election leaflets: ... difficult economic times ... Brown's experienced leadership ... global economic crisis ... blah di blah.

The problem for Brown is the 'flippers' have their fiddling fingerprints all over his government, including his own chancellor and his favourite cabinet couple.

The ruling New Labour Party has seen its chancellor Darling exposed as a serial tax evader and he's in charge of the economy. Brown's golden cabinet couple Balls and Cooper have been exposed as triple second homes fiddlers and are in line for a move up the greasy pole.

Who's in charge of a crack-down on crime? His disposable two homes secretary, Smith, up to her neck in receipts of deceit.

Justice minister Straw made a mistake which would see him laughed out of court. Transport secretary, Hoon, has taken taxpayers for a ride.

The guy in charge of catching benefit cheats? Work and pensions secretary, Purnell, accused of pocketing thousands of pounds in expenses and avoiding taxes.

The chap in charge of de-selection? Brown's buddy and government chief whip, no relation Brown, who charged £18,000 to the taxpayer over four years for food without receipts.

Sure a few will be hung out to dry by Brown to show that he can match Cameron in the game of brinkmanship but they are bit-players.

The real culprits, the spivs and crooks will get off Scot-free as the so-called purge lets his inner circle of cronies off the hook. His premiership is in tatters. Voters can see through the sham.

Cameron was always going to come out this mess on top, despite the hopes of many for an almighty Tory scandal. He's flying high with the Sun but more importantly with voters.

On numbers alone the odds were stacked in his favour. An opposition MP however high and mighty caught troughing doesn't hold a candle to a government minister caught fiddling.

Out of the whole sorry mess Cameron, Osbourne and Hague have come up relatively squeaky clean, much to the chagrin of some in the media, who were waiting to play a game of ya boo sucks. He's declared open season on his rotten lot, taking on the Thatcher old guard, toffs and greedy wannabes.

But in a remarkable insight into the mind of the Supreme Leader, Brown revealed his true smug, arrogant colours, telling MPs and voters crying out for a snap general election that he won't do it - because he'd lose and anyway he's the only one who can save the world from recession depression.

In one fell swoop he made a mockery of democracy, insulted opposition parties and the whole country.

Picking on a few sorry scapegoats who won't damage Brown's iron rule does not show leadership. It shows a scheming mind and lays bare the vexed question to come out of the whole squalid expenses scandal. Who can you trust when many of our politicians are tainted with sleaze?

Parliament is there for the people, not to prostitute itself to the iron grip of a shamed and discredited fag-end government.

Cameron's Tories, LibDems, SNP and the whole country are shouting with one voice: What do we want? A general election. When do we want it? Now.

Good Riddance To Bad Rubbish

Beleaguered Brown has won breathing space from the wrath of parliament and voters with some serious tribal political plotting, as he wields the knife on his disgraced commons speaker pal Martin.

In an historic day for parliament as the discredited speaker was forced out of office, the long-suffering public were left wondering when and where it will all end.

New Labour cronies may bleat around the bush claiming their man had been made a scapegoat. The Orange Party will not be among them. The nations should rejoice. It's good riddance to bad rubbish. Martin epitomised everything that was wrong with the failed and discredited New Labour brand. A chance now to clean out the rotting stench of corruption at the heart of Westminster.

The last speaker to come a cropper was a cross-eyed crook who left MPs in a quandary trying to catch the speaker's eye.

In 1695, he was caught red-handed accepting a bribe in a cash for laws scandal and had to be prised out of office while clinging by his fingertips to one of the highest offices in the land.

What goes around, comes around.

Neatly side-stepping the 'will of parliament' and a humiliating no confidence vote, Martin's 34 second resignation gives Brown and his Downing Street boys the one thing they hoped and prayed for - time.

In a last ditch bid to saves his pal's skin, his long-time crony finally announced he is quitting before dragging Brown down with him.

Martin leaves in a month's time, leaving a by-election in his Glasgow North East constituency in his wake and a nasty taste in the mouth.

In what could well turn into a re-run of last July's rout at the hands of the SNP, voters have another chance to show they are fed up with Brown and his cronies who have no place in the hearts and minds of the people of the country.

Then with the Labour Party in disarray in Scotland, riddled with sleaze allegations, the people of Glasgow East sent a clear message to Westminster and Brown got the Glaswegian kiss.

The commons ringmaster and gatekeeper of the MPs expenses fiddle has been clinging limpet-like to his speaker's chair as moves to bring him to parliamentary justice and oust him gained support with petitions calling for a snap general election flying around like confetti.

The longer bunkered Brown let the dead speaker walking walk away with it, the worse it would get for the tight cabal of cronies.

Martin was part of the problem. He could not and would not survive whatever political games are played to keep him in post until the general election so his can pick up his peerage and fat pay-off pay cheque.

But if the speaker made an immediate sharp exit that would trigger a by-election now and certain defeat at the hands of the SNP, followed by the rout of an early general election.

A by-election after a summer stand down is just what the spin doctors ordered.

Only Martin's cronies in the New Labour ruling party, using the spinning smokescreen of a scapegoat, are rallying round to support one of their kind who's brought shame and a plague on both their houses as all roads lead back to Brown.

Once again it is the petty party political tribal loyalties at the heart of a discredited Brown government which have led to the ignominious end of a man who has presided over nearly a decade of corruption.

Brown pulls the strings behind his long-time buddy. He calls the shots. He decides how to solve a problem like the speaker. He wielded the knife.

Now Brown will have to accept the consequences of dithering around and putting his petty party politics and political posturing above the interests of the country.

Martin stuck up for his mate Brown and visa versa but something had to give as the sordid mess of MPs' expenses threatened to bring down the Party and parliamentary democracy.

The ball was in Brown's court. He could put aside his tribal loyalty to Martin and let him go or go down with him.

For the first time since the English Revolution, rebellion is in the air. Unprecedented scenes of anger, disgust and disgrace left the cherished democracy of parliament in tatters.

With disbelief, the shamed speaker refused point blank to give in to calls for a no-confidence vote. Calls to quit fell on his deaf and greedy ears.

Time and again troughing Martin had made a mockery of the non-partisan post while feathering his own nest, showing his true New Labour colours, sticking up for and sucking up to his cronies in a discredited government up to its neck in the shame of MPs' scandalous expenses.

Today threatened to be another mother of all rows in the mother of all parliaments and utter chaos in Brown's Big Brother house.

Now his demise gives time for all parties to put their own rotten houses in order before calls for an immediate general election to clear the air of the rotten stench turn into a deafening roar.

'Gorbals Mick' was a liability for the government, the commons and the country. Even sticking in the job until the summer will not assuage public and parliament anger.

The discredited bunch of New Labour chancers, spivs and downright crooks have only themselves to blame.  As the Orange Party has pointed out, 'Gorbals Mick' was already in the thick of it well before the latest revelations, his earlier greedy troughing track-record tracked here by Private Eye's Christopher Silvester.

The blinkered and the blind followers of a discredited New Labour brand are trying to cling on to an increasingly bitter end before annihilation.

Reform of parliament was impossible while this arrogant and greedy man remained in office. Getting rid of the commons speaker will not solve all the problems of the commons. It is a start - but only a start. Window dressing until the election.

The MPs' expenses scandal cannot be  allowed to rot and fester in a sea of pathetic party political posturing and Brown's arrogant tribal loyalties.

The Orange Party just hopes Martin doesn't get rewarded with a cushy peerage for services to New Labour politics.

In The Name Of Gord, He Had To Go

Bunkered Brown's disgraced speaker pal, Martin, is quitting before dragging the Supreme Leader down with him. Politicians, press and public are uniting behind calls for a snap general election for a fresh start. In the name of Gord, he had to go.

Disgraced speaker Martin is to quit with an announcement later today - going sooner rather than later, probably before the summer recess, according to The Times.

Neatly side-stepping the looming 'will of parliament' and a humiliating no confidence vote, Martin's resignation gives Brown breathing space and saves his pal's skin.

The commons ringmaster and gatekeeper of the MPs expenses fiddle has been clinging limpet-like to his speaker's chair as moves to bring him to parliamentary justice and oust him gained support and petitions calling for a snap general election fly around like confetti.

The Orange Party isn't the new best friend of Billy-no-mates Brown but one thing was clear. The longer bunkered Brown let the dead speaker walking walk away with it, the worse it would get for beleaguered Brown.

And that left an intractable problem for Downing Street and the tight cabal of Brown's boys.

Martin is part of the problem. He cannot and will not survive whatever political games are played to keep him in post until the general election so his can pick up his peerage and fat pay-off pay cheque.

But if the speaker makes a sharp exit now that would trigger a by-election in his Glasgow constituency and defeat at the hands of the SNP, followed by the rout of an early general election.

If Downing Street wants one thing it's to be in control of the election grid. It was being taken away from them and they didn't like it one bit. A by-election after a summer stand down is just what the spin doctors ordered.

It's starting to leave a bitter taste, with only Martin's cronies in the New Labour ruling party, using the spinning smokescreen of a scapegoat, rallying round to support one of their kind who's brought shame and a plague on both their houses.

But all roads lead back to Brown who shoe-horned his New Labour pal Martin into the job when Blair called time on respected Tiller Girl turned school ma'am Betty Boothroyd.

Once again it is the petty party political tribal loyalties at the heart of a discredited Brown government which are now part of his downfall.

The prime minister pulls the strings behind his long-time buddy, he calls the shots on commons no-confidence votes and decides how to solve a problem like the speaker.

But Martin sticks up for his mate Brown and visa versa. Something had to give as the tribal loyalties threaten to bring down the Party and parliamentary democracy. The ball was in Brown's court. He could put aside his tribal loyalty to Martin and let him go or go down with him.

The Orange Party is starting to lose count of the number of petitions doing the rounds calling for an immediate general election. The Sun along with Cameron the man who can and the Mail have ones up and running today, the Downing Street e-petition calling on Brown to quit is topping 60,000. There's now an online petition for the Queen to dissolve parliament.

For the first time since the English Revolution, rebellion is in the air. Unprecedented scenes of anger, disgust, disgrace and disbelief left the cherished democracy of parliament in tatters. The shamed speaker refused point blank to give in to calls for a no-confidence vote. Calls to quit fell on his deaf and greedy ears while Cromwell's "In the name of God, go!" were ringing in the ears of the honest and decent bunch of MPs left at Westminster.

The speaker has shown his true New Labour colours sticking up for and sucking up to his cronies in a discredited government up to its neck in the shame of MPs' scandalous expenses. He came to epitomise everything that's wrong with the failed and discredited New Labour brand.

Cameron is caught between a rock and a hard place - supporting the office of speaker as any political leader should do but not the man. He's now the one 'getting on with the job', putting his own rotten house in order and calling for an immediate general election to clear the air of the rotten stench.

Today threatened to be another mother of all rows in the mother of all parliaments and utter chaos in Brown's Big Brother house with another stab at a motion to remove the national disgrace of 'Gorbals Mick'.

The 'will of parliament' would have to prevail and Brown would be left vulnerable to attack. The liability for the government, the commons and Brown would have to go. But even sticking in the job until the summer or that general election will not assuage public and parliament anger.

The discredited bunch of New Labour chancers, spivs and downright crooks have only themselves to blame. 'Gorbals Mick' was already in the thick of it well before the Sunday Times and Telegraph's latest revelations.

Only the blinkered and the blind followers of a discredited New Labour brand are desperately trying to cling on to an increasingly bitter end. Clinging on to the vain hope that maybe it will all just blow over and go away.

Reform of parliament is utterly impossible while this arrogant and greedy man remains in office. Getting rid of the commons speaker will not, solve all the problems of the commons. It is a start - but only a start. The Orange Party just hopes he doesn't get rewarded with a cushy peerage for services to New Labour politics.

It's bad enough at the moment, as the storm clouds continue to gather over Westminster and trust in parliament and democracy is at an all-time low.

But an angry public will never forgive Brown and his New Labour Party if the smokescreens and spinners finally win the day and democracy is dragged down to new depths of despair. The MPs' expenses scandal cannot be allowed to rot and fester in a sea of pathetic party political posturing and arrogant tribal loyalties.
